Student film Athena from the prestigious Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film & Media Arts had all the components of a blockbuster: intriguing topic, flawless script, and cinematic visuals. But it was missing marketing materials that could actually launch it to the big screen. Over the course of eight months, I worked closely with the producer to create a fully comprehensive film marketing package. The final product included: a tagline, synopsis, positioning statement, target audience descriptors, press releases, media pitches, cast & crew bios, DVD case, and distribution strategy tactics.
